Divisions
The Employment Division provides the Secretariat to the Appointments Board and its Committees. It handles matters related to appointments, promotions and discipline of all staff in the University.

The Performance and Appraisal Division provides Secretariat to the Human resource and Administration Committee of Council. It handles all matters related to employee performance and welfare. It also handles transfers and administrative appointments in liason with the office of the DVC-Finance and Administration and Vice Chancellor as the need may arise.

The Benefits Division provides Secretariat to the Board of Trustees of the Retirement Benefits Scheme. The Division handles all maters relating to retirement benefits i.e. Inhouse retirement benfit scheme (IRBS) and the deposit Administration Plan (DAP). It also handles the Long Service award (LSA), Contract Gratuity (CG), Death Gratuity (DG) and matters relating to staff loans.

The Records and Information Division handles all matters relating to personnel records both manual and electronic and utilization of Information and Communication Technology for effective and efficient execution of activities in the Directorate.

The Staff Training and Development Division provides the Secretariat to the Staff Development Committee of Council. It handles all matters relating to training and development of all categories of staff in the University.
